Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt Whisky

Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt Whisky, named after the founder of Nikka Whisky, Masataka Taketsuru, is a tribute to his pioneering spirit and dedication to the art of whisky-making. Taketsuru, often referred to as the "Father of Japanese Whisky," studied the techniques of whisky production in Scotland before returning to Japan to establish his own distillery.

The Taketsuru Pure Malt expression is a blend of malt whiskies sourced from both of Nikka's distilleries: Yoichi and Miyagikyo. This carefully crafted blend showcases the distinctive characteristics of each distillery, with Yoichi contributing robust, peaty flavors, and Miyagikyo adding delicate, fruity notes.
