Ardbeg Drum

The Ardbeg distillery unveiled a special release known as Drum for Ardbeg Day amidst the festivities of Feis Ile 2019. This limited-edition single malt underwent a unique process where the traditional peaty Islay flavor matured in bourbon casks before receiving a distinctive finish in ex-rum casks. This innovative approach imbued the whisky with notes of bittersweet molasses, banana, and chocolate, adding layers of complexity to the classic expression.
