This fourth release in Glenmorangie’s ‘Tale of’ series is crafted from a carefully balanced blend of whisky aged in traditional sherry and bourbon casks, along with whisky partially matured in rare Mizunara oak from Japan—a first for Glenmorangie.

The nose opens with layers of white pepper, sandalwood, and a touch of cedar, evoking the aromatic allure of Japanese incense. On the palate, lively notes of tangy orange zest, bitter cherry, and rich milk chocolate unfold, softened by hints of sweet oak and Mizunara’s distinctive resinous quality. The finish is long and complex, leaving subtle flavors of almond, mandarin, and a gentle dusting of white pepper. Bottled at 46% ABV, this limited-edition whisky is a truly unique expression of Glenmorangie’s artistry, merging Highland tradition with Tokyo’s unmistakable character.
